How to Publish a Trip as a Traveler
Travelers on Shiply Egypt publish upcoming trips so customers can request delivery help. A clear listing—route, dates, capacity, and categories—helps you attract serious requests and manage deals from your match hub (`/matches/[id]`).

Set up your traveler profile
Create a Shiply account and enable traveler mode when prompted. Complete your profile so customers can evaluate trust signals such as reviews and completed deals over time.
Complete traveler verification when required
Shiply requires traveler verification before you can publish an active trip listing. Open `/listings/new` (Publish a Trip); if you are not verified, Shiply routes you through the verification flow first.
Verification usually involves submitting passport, selfie, and flight documentation for review. Verification improves trust signals; it does not guarantee deal outcomes.
Add route and travel dates
Enter origin and destination countries and cities for the trip. Most Shiply demand focuses on bringing products into Egypt, so destination details should match where you can actually hand off items.
Set arrival and delivery-related dates carefully. Customers rely on those dates when choosing a traveler. Outdated trips should be updated or removed so the marketplace stays accurate.
Capacity, service type, and categories
State how much weight you can carry and which service types you offer (shop and ship, carry only, or both, when available). Choose accepted product categories—or accept a defined set—so customers know what you are willing to handle.
Add pricing preferences (such as minimum reward or reward per kg) and delivery preferences (for example home delivery or airport meetup) so expectations are clear before negotiation.
Publish and receive requests
Publish the trip when details are accurate. Eligible public trips can appear on Browse Traveler Trips. Customers may send offers from the marketplace or open a private request from your listing.
You can also browse open product requests and reach out where the route and timing fit. Keep negotiation on Shiply so payment and delivery milestones stay on the platform.
Fulfillment, proof, and payout
After a deal is accepted and the customer’s deposit is secured, purchase or pick up the item as agreed. Upload purchase proof when required, update delivery status from your match hub, and complete handoff.
When the customer confirms delivery, you become eligible for payout pending Shiply’s payout review. Do not purchase before payment is secured when platform rules require it.
